AC358 Revisions in Final Stages for June 5 ICC Meeting

Last November the Ad Hoc Committee of Helical Pile Manufacturers met with engineers from ICC-ES in their Los Angeles offices in an attempt to resolve open items for the revisions of AC358 - the acceptance criteria for helical piles, anchors and brackets.  Over the past five months, the committee and it’s consulting engineer, Mr. Moncef Souissi of CTL/Thompson (www.ctlthompson.com), have worked closely with engineers from ICC-ES to prepare a final draft of the acceptance criteria that will be presented for (potential) approval at the June 5 public meeting of the International Code Council in Los Angeles.
