The Ad Hoc Committee of Helical Pile Manufacturers met with engineers at ICC-ES headquarters in Los Angeles on November 17th in an attempt to get all parties on the same page with respect to the proposed revisions to AC358 - the ICC-ES acceptance criteria for helical piles and brackets. The meeting was organized after the Ad Hoc Committee of Helical Pile Manufacturers and ICC-ES engineers determined at the October Evaluation Committee Hearing that considerably more work was needed on the document (see HPW article).

The new schedule for the project calls for the revisions to be presented by February 22, 2012 for review by the ICC-ES engineering staff. The earliest date for (potential) approval of the revised AC358 is now June, 2012.
