Magnum Piering VP leaves after 10+ years to take control of

HelicalPierWorld.com as the new Publisher and Editor-in-Chief

February 24, 2011

Bill "Bones" Bonekemper HPW Publisher & Editor-in-Chief2

Hello from Cincinnati and the New HelicalPierWorld.com!

Some of you may have known me from my years at Magnum Piering.  As the saying goes, it was a great run! We grew Magnum nearly tenfold in those years, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.  My time at Magnum put me in touch with so many interesting and wonderful people in an industry filled with a diverse mix of personalities, educational background and professional skills.  A good number of these people I clearly call friends, and I am looking forward to maintaining the relationships as I move forward with another professional chapter in life’s book.

My years at Magnum provided me with a terrific understanding of how business gets done in the deep foundation and foundation repair markets. I believe all this knowledge will help me greatly as I inject it into the fiber of HelicalPierWorld.com and present valuable and timely information to our readers.  There are a near countless number of people in the industry who helped me over the last 10 years, and I am so very grateful to have had the opportunity to work with and get to know them.  Hopefully my work at HPW will provide ample reasons to bring me together with these friends and many, many new ones.

On a more personal note, the Bonekemper family resides in a northeastern suburb of Cincinnati, and HPW is there as well.  My wife Lawre and I have 3 wonderful children - Collin, who is finishing his degree at the University of Tennessee, Wes, who is a sophomore at the University of Cincinnati, and Lana who is a junior in high school but has already committed to play soccer for the University of Iowa.  I included a recent family picture just so I could bring a human and personal touch to this world of steel, dirt and concrete in which we work.  We want everyone to know that you have an open invitation to visit with us if your journeys bring you to this neck of the woods.
