Name Changes from Helical Pier World to Helical Pile World

Plus a Brand New Look and Feel for the Web Site

After receiving many, many emails, doing a lot of reading, conferring with our (new) Technical Advisory Team and talking with people in the industry, I was convinced the name of the company needed to be changed to Helical Pile World, LLC to better align the company and the web site with the term used most widely in our industry - helical pile.

As if it’s not enough to change the name of the company and go through all the related hassles, I also decided to have the web site completely re-designed.  Ugh – lots and lots of work, but the previous design did not provide a platform that would accommodate all the things I want to accomplish in the months and years ahead.  As you traverse through the new site, you will notice a couple of obvious changes, but there are some transparent changes the site needed in order to better serve our advertisers and for analyzing site traffic.

The obvious changes include:

  • Different layout and color scheme
  • A search feature for the site
  • Link to our new HPW blog
  • Employment opportunities page

For our web-savvy readers, we have implemented a comprehensive re-direct plan that will continue to keep the site placing very high on search engines for both terms “helical pile” and “helical pier”.

I am anxious to get feedback about the new site and new features, so please don’t hesitate to shoot me an email or make a blog post.  And, I would like to acknowledge and thank my web design consultant, Mr. Brian Ellison, for his fantastic work on our rather large project.
