MacLean-Dixie HFS is about to take an Industry-leading position with
impending awards of ICC-ES Evaluation Reports for 4 helical pile products
A very important event is in the process of unfolding for the helical pile industry,
as one of the industry giants, MacLean-Dixie (http://www.macleandixie.com/), is about
to be awarded ICC-ES Evaluation Reports for four helical pile products - 1.50” and
1.75” round corner square bar, 2.875” and 3.50” round shaft helical piles. “All
that remains is the processing of the paperwork, which should be completed by month’s
end,” said helical product manager, Steve Petres. “Our team as endured a long and
expensive process, and we are more than excited to be able to offer these four certified
products to the marketplace as soon as the paperwork is completed,” Petres added.
With this certification of both square bar and round shaft products, MacLean-Dixie
jumps into the enviable position as the industry’s leading contender for helical
pile projects requiring ICC-ES certification.
MacLean-Dixie, as well as other manufacturers that made the commitment to complete
the field testing, destructive laboratory testing and the structural calculations
required by ICC-ES Acceptance Criteria AC358, has endured a very difficult, very
long and hugely expensive effort to obtain these four certifications. With these
four awards, MacLean-Dixie will join Ram Jack Foundation Systems as the only manufacturers
with ICC-ES Evaluation Reports.
MacLean-Dixie and its parent company MacLean Power Systems are headquartered in Chicago.
