TEK Helical Piles Installs (30) Helical Piles to Support the DTE Cooler Silencer Enclosures in New Milford, PA
Project Description
DTE contracted Noise Solutions Inc. to provide acoustic silencers around their existing Compressor Coolers. Noise Solutions was already familiar with the benefits of helical piles, so they reached out to TEK to provide the silencer foundation piles for three silencer units - (10) piles each. The utilization of helical piles greatly reduced the overall schedule allowing Noise Solutions to begin erection of each silencer enclosure as soon as the piles were installed. The helical pile installations were straight forward with the only concern being the live operation of the compressors.
